Braden Palmer founded Prospect Music Lessons in 2017, but has been teaching Guitar Lessons and more in Brooklyn for two decades. He believes that we are all prospects. We just need an experienced guide to help us to develop our natural talents and to keep us on the path to success. Through consistent practice and weekly one-on-one guitar lessons, piano lessons, or lessons on any instrument, and with the right teacher, just about anyone can learn to play music.
As of 2024, Prospect Music Lessons is now offering lessons in not only Brooklyn, but also Manhattan, Queens, and Northern New Jersey.
All of our teachers at Prospect Music Lessons are given coaching by Braden personally in his teaching methods. They all are phenomenal performers and teachers in their own rights. Whatever instrument you or your children want to play, we can place you with the right teacher, whether Braden or one of our fantastic faculty. We offer lessons for guitar, piano, ukulele, sax, drums, flute, clarinet, trumpet, violin, trombone, and more.

It takes talent, understanding, charisma, and the ability to adapt to be a great teacher. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to learning, and our teachers do their best to discover what works best for each student. Though we have books and methods that we often use, we know that there isn’t one right way to teach everyone. It’s our job to find what method is going to make each student the best musician they can be.
