Braden Lesson Photos resize wp-2Braden Palmer founded Prospect Music Lessons in 2017, but has been teaching Guitar Lessons and more for over 20 years. He believes that we are all prospects. We just need an experienced guide to help us to develop our natural talents and to keep us on the path to success. Through consistent practice and weekly one-on-one guitar lessons, piano lessons, or lessons on any instrument, and with the right teacher, just about anyone can learn to play music.

While we have focused on In-Home Lessons, due to Covid-19 we switched to Online Lessons in March of 2020. Over the spring, we perfected the art of teaching online, and are continuing to do mostly Online Lessons – however, since cases in NYC have been mostly under control, we are now offering In-Home Lessons again for the fall – with safety precautions.

All of our teachers at Prospect Music Lessons are given coaching by Braden personally in his teaching methods. They all are phenomenal performers and teachers in their own rights. Whatever instrument you or your children want to play, we can place you with the right teacher, whether Braden or one of our fantastic faculty. We offer lessons for guitar, piano, ukulele, sax, drums, flute, clarinet, trumpet, violin, trombone, and more.

It takes talent, understanding, charisma, and the ability to adapt to be a great teacher. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to learning, and our teachers do their best to discover what works best for each student. Though we have books and methods that we often use, we know that there isn’t one right way to teach everyone. It’s our job to find what method is going to make each student the best musician they can be.

Every student is a prospect – but just needs some guidance. With practice, patience, and a good teacher, you and/or your child will be making beautiful music!
